Darrell "Shane" Lyle

Darrell "Shane" Lyle, age 47, of Nashville, TN, passed away on February 20, 2024, at Williamson Medical Center. He was born on April 22, 1976, in Nashville. Shane was known for his kindness, generosity, and strong work ethic. He cherished his family and friends, especially his children and grandchildren.

Shane had a career in construction, where his hard work and dedication shone through. He was a loyal fan of the Tennessee Vols and enjoyed drawing in his free time.

He is survived by his mother, Gracie (Steve) Temple; children: Marcus "Blake" Lyle, Dustin (Shawna) Lyle, Dakota Smith, and bonus child Katie (Chris) Petty; grandchildren: Trace, Karmen, Kaysen, Everett, Fallon, and bonus grandchildren Sylas, Jesse, Irie, Brent, Spencer; sister Christy (Tom) Evans; brothers Tony and Michael (Angela) Temple; nephew Landon Temple; nieces Keira Evans, Emily Temple; step-grandfather Hershell Temple; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Shane was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Lyle; grandmothers June Strickland, Helen Lyle, Flossie Temple; grandfathers Mike Bishop, Vernon Lyle, step-grandfather Howard Strickland "JR."

Services for Shane will be determined at a later time. He was a member of Gateway Assembly of God.

Shane's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
