Georgia Davenport

Georgia Davenport, age 83, of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.  She was born on Thursday, November 24, 1938 in Erin, Tennessee.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James and Gerturde Jackson; one daughter, Ann Smith; and several brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her daughters, Jean Burton (Allen), Donna Mata (Victor), Betty Deal (Curt); sons, Jimmy Woolsey, Michael Woolsey (Angel); eighteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Georgia was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Franklin Kentucky for many years.  She enjoyed singing karaoke and dancing.  She was considered a good cook and was always in charge of the cooking for holiday meals and large family gatherings.  She will be missed by all those who loved her and knew her.
