Kevin Richard Erickson was a caring father, brother, and friend. He passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2021 at age 55.
Kevin was born to the late Gary L. and Margaret M. Erickson on July 20, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated in 1983 from NRHS in North Ridgeville, Ohio and lived most of his life in northeast Ohio. The last 10 years were spent living in Nashville, Tennessee.
Kevin was extremely passionate about his work. He was a mentor and friend to many throughout his 35-year career in bartending. He loved his family and friends as much as he loved bacon, jamming out to rock music, playing pranks on unsuspecting coworkers, and telling jokes. He was always ready to make people laugh in any situation and brightened many rooms in his life with his infectious laughter. Kevin was a true individual that marched to the beat of his own drum, yet he was kind, gentle, and genuinely cared about those he loved.
Kevin touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his three children: Melanie Jo Ann Erickson, Nicole Marie Erickson and Adam Christopher Erickson; his ex-wife: Amy Tilla Ramirez; his brother; Robert Erickson; his nephew: Andrew Erickson; aunts, uncles and many cousins; and many friends.
Friends and family in Nashville are welcome to join a celebration of life for Kevin on Friday, June 18 2021, 2:00 PM-5:00 PM at New Hope Community Church at 605 Wilson Pike, Brentwood. There will be another gathering for friends and family in Ohio at a later posted date and time.
