Matthew James Ryan

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Matthew James Ryan, of Nashville, TN, on Sunday, November 7, at the age of 42 years.

He was born April 19, 1979, in Rochester, Michigan, and was the second youngest of eight children. In 1980 he moved with his family to New Mexico, where he was active in sports and music, and graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque in 1997. He moved to Tennessee in 2008 and worked in the hospitality industry for several years before pursuing a career in automotive sales and finance.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Jacob and Lenni; siblings: Michael (Jennifer) Ryan, Gregory Ryan, Christopher (Kim) Ryan, Angela Ryan, Kara (Brandon) Edwards, and George Ryan, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Matthew was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Janice Ryan, and sister, Gina Ryan.
