Russell Ray Hiett

Russell” Rusty” Hiett passed away October 9th, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center from complications of diabetes. He was born June 26th, 1957 in Smith County, TN. To Bobby and Dean Hiett of Hartsville, TN. 

Russ was a 1975 graduate of Trousdale Co. High School where he was elected Sr. Class President and voted Mr. Stepping Stone.

Russ was preceded in death by his sister Sherry Mofield and his grandparents. Those left to remember him are his partner of 33 years Jack Quinn, his parents, Bobbie and Dean Hiett, much loved sister Rita (Phillip) Crowder, brother Mike (Amy) Hiett, brother in law Benny Mofield, niece Jenny (Brandon) Hutcherson, niece Molly Crowder(Kirk Beasley), other nieces and nephews and his much loved and spoiled fur babies Ricky, Squidgee, and youngest Tulip. Russ's wish was to be cremated, and no service. He asked if you can to donate to any animal shelter or animal rescue in his remembrance. Russ will be remembered by all that loved him, for his thoughtfulness, his words, and at times, his stubbornness.
