Shirley Ann Cook

Shirley Ann Cook, age 75 passed away peacefully in Hendersonville, TN on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was a member of Eagle Heights Church in Memphis. She was a former hospitality director for Holiday Inn Corp. She was preceded in death by her parents Coy (Janelle) Cook of Memphis. Survived by her two sons William (Deborah) Sanford of Cross Plains, TN. James (Alecia) Sanford II of Denmark, TN. Two brothers Bill (Debbie) Cook of Hendersonville, TN. Bruce Cook of Memphis, TN. Six grandchildren James Sanford III, Loren Britnee Sanford, Bryana Millner, Stephen Sanford, Katie Sanford and Michael Isaachsen. Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews. She touched many many lives along the way while battling cancer for over 25 years. There will be a celebration of life at Eagle Heights Church in Cordova TN at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society in honor of Ms. Cook.
