Tim John Grosser

On Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, Tim Grosser, loving father, brother, friend and uncle passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63.

Tim was born July 5th, 1960 and always claimed that the July 4th fireworks were in celebration of him. He was born to the late Delphine and Robert Grosser in Elmhurst, IL where he spent most of his life along with his siblings Susan (the late Keith) Groenwald, Jeff (Tricia) Grosser, Roberta (the late Lenard) Hoppe and Roger (Juliette) Grosser. He stayed local to Elmhurst until moving to Gallatin, TN in June of 2018.

In his earlier years Tim owned a print shop alongside his father that later turned into a lifelong career in the print industry where he loved his work selling the latest in print technology and making lifelong friends along the way.

Tim raised two children to whom he meant the world, Courteney (Jeff) Stewart and Joey Grosser. He was an exceptional Dad making sure to take the kids on special trips such as to the dude ranch or road tripping all the way from Chicago to Montana. Always with the goal of teaching the kids to value trying new things with the ones you love. Lots of time was always spent at the Grosser’s backyard pool or nowadays on Old Hickory Lake.

He will be remembered for always doing things his own way, in a way that those around him admired. He was a lover and a giver in every meaning of the words. Those that knew him know that there will be no party or event to come that will be the same without his presence and love for all things fun.

A celebration of life will be held in his favorite fashion, with lake views, great  stories and great music. Details below.
