I’ve only met Danny a handful of times. I remember his warm smile, his carefree spirit, & his beautiful outlook on life. I met Danny through my brother Tyler, & I remember going on the Alabama river with him. He told me the best kind of boat is the boat that’s paid off. Ha. I’ll never forget his ability to make other’s laugh & his passion for living life to the fullest. Rest In Peace brother, you are missed.

danny was one of the most wise and vibrant people i have ever met. you could tell just by talking to him that he understood more about the universe than could ever really be explained with words. he always treated me with such kindness and familiarity, even back when i had only met him once or twice. when i would go up to whites creek to see gen he would always hang out with us and our little friend group at the time, give us funny nicknames (mine was J-money), and talk about anything from kayaking to moral philosophy. in the time i was lucky enough to spend with gen and danny, i figured out that he shaped much of her unique perspective on life and vivacious personality, and that their relationship is such a special one. my entire heart goes out to you, gen and leah, and i am so so sorry for your loss. he will be so very missed.

Whenever I would go to Gen’s house you always made me laugh and made me feel so welcomed even though I had only been there a handful of times. I appreciated it so much. Thank you

i remember hanging out at the house with genesis and danny and friends and we always watched the coolest movies n talked abt the most interesting things. we watched the wall together and it was the first time ide seen the movie. danny would take us out on hikes in the winter time up through the snowy woods and hung out with us in the RV. he made friends with my dad and they got coffee together one time. i remember coming over with a friend to see genesis and danny took his guns out from behind the couch to put them elsewhere n it scared my friend and we were all laughing. he was a really funny genuinely sweet guy and hanging out with him and gen were definitely some of my favorite times. sending love guys <3

Danny was an incredible light. He helped everyone around him realize their worth. He helped mend broken souls and spirits. He was definitely one of the most incredible and influential people I've ever met. Knowing him was a gift. "He will be missed" is an understatement.

Over the past two years I've had the honor of calling Danny my friend and family. When I met Danny, I was 18 and he gave me a job opportunity that became so much more. Through the course of being my best friend, bringing me into his family, and helping me throughout my spiritual journey, he has changed my life like no other human being yet. He gave me an understanding of life, family, and soul that I never could have imagined. He was a philosopher. He was a yogi. He was a bestfriend and more importantly, he was like a father to me. Danny loved everyone and that love will never die. I made Danny a promise to watch after his daughter and I swear on his life now that I will keep that promise.

My father was my best friend, my mentor, & my spiritual guide for this life. I wouldn’t be who I was without him. I’m really going to miss him, but I’m grateful for the amazing 18 years I have had so far. I’ll miss going on adventures together, going out dancing, and most of all, I’m going to miss his hugs. I don’t think I will ever be used to living my life without him, but his lessons will always stick with me wherever I go. Love you, Dad ❤️

Danny Stephens was great at a lot of different things in life but i would have to say we had a very unique relationship he raised our daughter might i a she is a pretty awesome daughter who he sculpted into one the most exceptionally balanced young ladies I have had the honor in knowing.. he of course had help from his wonderful wife who his time was too short with.. But i am a firm believer that if you only had a brief meeting with a gentleman like danny he would make a lasting impression. So thank you for taking care, and sacrificing so much for one of my greatest contributions to this life . you will never know how grateful i really am to you and leah.. Fair well my friend go transcend.. kristy moser
